Shelburne is fast becoming one of the most diverse towns in Dufferin County and is the fastest growing town in Ontario according to the 2016 Census Date. Shelburne is 4.54 square kilometers and currently has a population of approximately 8,100 people.

Located 15 minutes north of Orangeville and within an easy commute of urban centres like Brampton, Mississauga and Toronto, Shelburne is best known for the Heritage Music Festival previously known as the Canadian Old Time Fiddle Championship which takes place every year during the second week of August.
